The story
Fifteen years in and around IFS — and still hands-on.
I'm Kevan Thompson, the consultant behind Meta ERP — an independent IFS Cloud consultancy built on fifteen years of functional delivery. Across that time I've implemented IFS from the ground up, led upgrades from older IFS versions and legacy ERPs onto IFS Cloud, and supported live systems long after go-live — for direct manufacturing clients and alongside some of the best-known IFS partners and integrators.
That mix matters. I've seen how projects are sold, how they're delivered, and — most importantly — how they hold up once the consultants leave. It's why I keep Meta ERP deliberately independent: no licences to push, no bench to keep busy. Just clear advice and capable delivery, from a practitioner who understands manufacturing operations as well as the software.
My IFS Certified Practitioner credential is held in my own name and verified by IFS — so when you work with Meta ERP, you're working directly with a certified consultant, not a badge on a brochure.
