IFS Cloud services, end to end.

Whether you are scoping a new implementation, planning an upgrade, or trying to get more from a system you already run — here is how I can help. Every engagement is senior-led and shaped around your operation.

New IFS Cloud implementations

Get live on IFS Cloud with less risk and fewer nasty surprises.

A new ERP is one of the biggest commitments a manufacturer makes — and one of the easiest to get wrong. I help you scope realistically, configure IFS Cloud around how you actually operate, and steer the project past the traps that sink first-timers: over-customisation, dirty data, and a design that reflects the brochure instead of the business.

What's included

  • Discovery and process mapping across your operation
  • Realistic scope, phasing and effort — before you commit
  • Core configuration: manufacturing, supply chain, finance, projects
  • Data migration strategy and cleansing support
  • Testing, cutover planning and go-live cover
  • Post go-live stabilisation and hypercare

Upgrades & migration

Move from legacy ERP or older IFS versions onto IFS Cloud — cleanly.

Upgrades & migration

Move from legacy ERP or older IFS versions onto IFS Cloud — cleanly.

Upgrades stall for predictable reasons: unclear scope, forgotten customisations and no plan for the modifications that piled up over the years. Whether you're coming from IFS Applications 8/9/10 or an ageing legacy system, I help you plan the move, decide what to carry over and what to leave behind, and treat the upgrade as a chance to fix old mistakes rather than repeat them.

What's included

  • Upgrade readiness assessment and gap analysis
  • Review of customisations, extensions and integrations
  • A clear, de-risked migration roadmap
  • Reimplementation vs. technical-upgrade guidance
  • Testing and parallel-run support
  • Change management for new IFS Cloud ways of working

Functional consultancy

Hands-on IFS configuration across the areas that run your business.

Sometimes you don't need a whole programme — you need an experienced pair of hands who genuinely knows the modules. I provide focused functional consultancy across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, finance, projects and service, configuring IFS to solve specific problems and closing the gaps that generalist consultants miss.

What's included

  • Manufacturing (shop orders, MRO, ETO/MTO/discrete, batch)
  • Supply chain, inventory and procurement
  • Finance, costing and project accounting
  • Service, contracts and asset management
  • Report, dashboard and KPI design
  • Fixing configuration that isn't behaving

Managed support & AMS

A steady, senior hand long after the project team has gone.

Managed support & AMS

A steady, senior hand long after the project team has gone.

Go-live is the start, not the finish. I offer ongoing application support and managed services that keep IFS Cloud healthy — resolving issues, answering the 'how do I…' questions, and making the small changes that keep the system aligned with the business as it evolves. No ticket-queue anonymity; you deal with the person who knows your setup.

What's included

  • Application support and issue resolution
  • Enhancements and change requests
  • User guidance and floor-walking
  • Release and update management
  • Health-checks and configuration reviews
  • Flexible retained days to suit your size

Continuous improvement

Turn a working system into a genuinely optimised one.

Most IFS installations only use a fraction of what they've paid for. Once the dust settles, I help you find the wins that were parked during go-live: automating the manual workarounds, tightening the data, switching on capability you already own, and making sure the numbers people rely on are actually trustworthy.

What's included

  • Post-implementation optimisation reviews
  • Unlocking modules and features you already licence
  • Process automation and workaround removal
  • Data quality and master-data improvement
  • Reporting, analytics and KPI trust
  • A prioritised, rolling improvement backlog

FAQ

Questions I get asked a lot.

Do you resell IFS licences?

No. Meta ERP is independent and sells no software. That means the advice you get is impartial — I have nothing to gain from you buying more modules or licences than you need.

Can you pick up a project that's already in trouble?

Yes. A good share of my work is coming into stalled or struggling implementations and upgrades, working out what's really going on, and getting things moving again with a realistic plan.

How do you charge?

Flexibly — fixed-scope for defined pieces of work, or day-rate / retainer for ongoing support and partner augmentation. You'll always know what you're committing to before we start.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Both. Most delivery works well remotely, with on-site time for workshops, testing and go-live where it genuinely adds value.

Ready to de-risk your IFS Cloud project?

Book a no-obligation call. Tell me where you are — scoping, mid-implementation, upgrading or just frustrated with your current setup — and I'll tell you, straight, how I can help.
